Lacy Collar with Handmade Beads Charm
Another project I was working on last week was.... beading!
I made those colorful beads charms for Amanda's new lacy collar, and they're just like sliplock belt buckles so that I can adjust the sizes of the collars.
I know they aren't perfect looking.... but I like the colors and a shiny charm sparkling on Amanda's furry neck :)

Amanda now has so many cute collars that she can chose from every morning.....
Lucky kitty, Panda!
I feel like Amanda has more clothes than I have now!!!

Got Crafty???
I hope your past week was filled with laughter and lots of kitty moments :)
I just noticed "Sweet Spring Aroma" outside the other day.....
Where I live, is surrounded by orange groves, and this is the season all the orange blossoms start blooming here in So.Cal..
Spring season is filled with colorful flowers and sweet aromas..... makes me feel very special :)
I've been quite busy working on my crafty project recently..... and I would like to introduce few works which I've been working on past week today!
These little cat toy made out of plastic bottle caps.
Very simple and easy to make! You will need two plastic bottle caps(like water or soda bottles), a small piece of fabric, batting(if you have), and a jingle bell.
All you have to make this toy is, tape it, saw it and play it with your kitty!
I made more bunny mouse......
I also made matching collars for my friend's kitties :)
I hope she like these collars....

This is one of my bigger project of last week, which I just finished yesterday!
It's a spring quilt for Amanda!!
I used the same pattern as my last quilt, and chose romantic pink flower printed fabric for my romantic girl....
Amanda is already loving her afternoon nap on her new spring look quilt!

"Pink" is my all time favorite color, and it is also the color of Spring to me.
I guess, it reminds me the lovely color of cherry blossoms, which is everywhere in Japan at this special time of the year.....

Amanda's Daily Cute Collar - Lacy Yellow Polka Dots
I'm still suffering from my jet lug.... :(
It's not fun at all, but when I can't get back to sleep at middle of night, and I had to get up and have a tea, Amanda always follows me to the living room even she is in her lovely sleep.
How adorable she is!!!
I always love seeing Amanda is in cute costumes, plus I do enjoy making those too :)
Although Amanda is a very patient kitty to deal with her cat fashion, it shouldn't be a good idea putting her in her costume for a long time...
But, collars are another story :)
Collars are something kitties would wear everyday! !
So, I've been busy making Amanda's new collars recently.
I made basic ones for Cinnamon and Amanda while I was in Japan.
And this is what I made this week.

Since I wanted to make it as comfortable as possible for kitties, I used no padding inside, so it's very soft and light weight.
It seems like ruffle doesn't really bother to Amanda so far.
I believe any kitties who are just okay with their regular collars, would be able to enjoy cute lacy collars like Amanda's :)
I will be making more and more!!

Hoshi is Back!!!
I'm finally back home!!!!
I'm suffering with jet lag still, but it's so lovely to wake up from my nap and finding Amanda is just right there next to me and taking a nappy with me :)
How sweet!!!!
It is very precious to spend time with my family, but can't live without my furry family, Amanda...!
While staying in Japan, I bought so many cute tyrolean style ribbons, and made couple new collars for Amanda.
I think red is another color that match lovely with Amanda's shiny dark color coats....

This pink one is a matching collar with my sister's cat Cinnamon.
Amanda's got a pink bell :)
She is looking very cute in pink, as always!

I would love to thank you all to visit and cheer Amanda during my vacation time.
Amanda is very lucky to have so many kind both furring and human friends here :)
I will be getting back to my crafty life, and will be happy to share my new creations with you again soon!!!
So, stay tune!

Cinnamon's New Flower Collar
I made a new collar for my sister's kitty Cinnamon.
Her new collar was made of tyrolean style ribbon in white and pink with red flower design, and I put a red bell on it.

Cinnamon doesn't really like me so much.... but she was extra nice to me today! Though, when I tried to pet her back, she was quite upset... :(
But I think Cinnamon is pretty cute in red flower collar :)

I'm thinking about making the same style collar for Amanda too!

Romantic Rose Cape
Here is my latest cat fashion that I made for Amanda.
Romantic kitty in Romantic Cape :)

I've always loved Victorian and Rococo style....
Very romantic....lots of beautiful laces, floral printed, velvet, roses, detailed, and the colors...
I love to watch classic movies with gorgeous dresses and old castles, princess, balls...
SO ROMANTIC!
Unfortunately, I don't really own any Victorian or Rococo style dresses, castles or fanitures for myself...
One of my dream was to live in a BIG Victorian style house in San Francisco... though :)

I can still make romantic dresses for my Princess Amanda :)

Mint Green Cherry Dress
I went to my favorite fabric store the other day, not planning to buy anything, but I was so excited to find this super cute pastel color fabric!!!!!
It even got cherry printed!!
Since it has been very stormy and rainy for a whole week now, I thought I can use some lovely spring colors to cheer me up a little bit.......
Can't you feel the spring is almost here?!?!?!
Back style, lacy ruffled skirt with a big matching ribbon

Amanda seems sleep more....
I usually give her favorite temptation treats after her modeling job, but today... she just wants to get back to her kitty nap,,,, she was still even in her dress!!!!

Cats on Tuseday - Prototype Dresses

CATS ON TUESDAY!
For more Cats on Tuesday, Please visit to Gattina.
Here I am, this is my 2nd. week of "Cats on Tuesday"!!!!
Thank you all for visiting my blog last Tuesday :)
This is actually my first dress that I ever made for Amanda about couple months ago.
I thought it came out just okay, and I liked the fabric.
But Amanda wasn't quite comfortable to wear this dress.
You can see it from her face... she doesn't like it at all.....
The problem was,,,, I made this dress with using the dog costume pattern, and it would wrapped around her body and her chest wholly.
Plus,, it does look so baggy....
So, I had to modify the pattern to fit better, and something less stress for Amanda.
Prototype 1 - Red Rose Dress
oversized!!!!!!
back style - with big red ribbon
I eliminated the part wraps around the chest to make it more flexible and comfortable, just fastens at neck and belly with velcro.
But....too loose around the neck this time.
Oh No,,, I didn't get the size right this time again....
Prototype 2- Green Polka-Dot Dress
SIGH......
After this green dress, I made a yellow polka-dot dress for her, and it came out just perfect!!
Finally..... :)

Matching Fashion with your Kitty??
You have a special party?
You would pick and wear your favorite dress, put a makeup on, and do your hair, to look nice to your guests, right?
Kitty should be able to dress up nicely, and welcome your guests, too!!

You see matching fashion of loving couples(maybe......), brothers and sisters, mothers and daughters, or fathers and sons.
How about me and my kitty?????
Why not?!?!
So,,, after I finished making a lacy blouse for Amanda, I made a hair scrunchy for myself, with the same fabric that I used for her.....
What do you think???

Would you like to enjoy a matching fashion with your kitty?
I do : )

Polka-Dot Dress
America's top kitty model, Amanda, is now introducing you this Spring's new trend kitty fashion, ,,,,,
Polka-Dot dress : )
I started making this yellow Polka-Dot dress last night.
I love polka-dot pattern. It even sounds so cute, right?
When I was just going though my fabric collections last night, I noticed that I just have so many polka-dot fabrics in my stock.
pink, blue, red, yellow, green, monotone, purple...... you name the colors
When I was a very little girl, my mother made me a yellow polka-dot dress, just like this.
She made that for me for the occasion of someone's wedding party, and it was a matching dress with my older sister.
I think I still have a picture of me and my sister in that dress...

Bow Tie Blouse
My new pink blouse... meow...
I start really enjoying making little cute things for Amanda.
I feel like spending most of my time with my sewing machine.
I began to learn sewing when I was a very little girl, my mother showed me how.
Since then, I always love and enjoy hand crafting, and eventually I went to the magnet school in my high school years, specially to learn dressmaking and nutrition science.
I made a cute pink bow tie blouse for Amanda today.
She was quite happy enough to pose in front of camera : )

Cat Aprons
My friend told me something the other day.
She is feeding her kitties wet and dry foods,
since her kitties are both long haired(one Himalayan and one Ragdoll), they sometimes make a little mess around their chest.
Hmmm.... I never knew about that!
Does any of you guys also have a same problem like that?
Amanda is short hair tabby, and
I only give her dry food(she likes chicken flavor).
She gets cat milk every night, but she never made a mess with her chest hair. (although she sometimes splash her milk.....)
This conversation with my friend gave me an idea,,,,
to make small aprons for long hair kitties!!!!!
So, I made "Cat Aprons" for my friend today.
Ta-dah!
It's reversible aprons, with checks and flower prints, with lovely lace ruffled.
It wraps around kitty's neck with Velcro, so it's adjustable, and very comfortable.
I hope my friend, and her two kitties, will like my aprons.....
So far,,, Amanda seems like it.....
