NO!! I'm a good kitty!!
Amanda learned how to open the kitchen cabinet door while I was visiting to Japan.
I wonder who taught her that???!??!?!!!?
She only enjoys trying to open this one specific cabinet.... nothing yummy is inside... just human food(rice and flour!) and cooking bowls....
Although nothing hazard or toxic things are in this cabinet, I tried to secure the door with Velcro tape...
Didn't work!!!
I wonder I should get something like Child proof door locks??
By the way, this is my first movie on Youtube!

GREAT video...I think Amanda just wanted a new hideout! I love the way she analyzes the door before she finally opens it. Amanda...you are a very clever kitty cat!
ReplyDeleteyour pal,
Bruce:)
Clever kitty! She is very creative.
ReplyDeleteAmanda, you are a very clever girl!
ReplyDeleteNicki can open cupboard doors and bureau drawers, too. If you have anything toxic (cleaning supplies) stored where she can get at them, I'd suggest a child-proof lock on the door. But if there's nothing to harm her, then I wouldn't worry about it. Unless she likes to "rearrange" things inside, as Nicki does. In that case, you might want to keep her out so you're not always putting things back. LOL.
Amanda is clever.
ReplyDeleteLOL, how cute! Our Sox used to open the door of the entertainment center at the bottom. He'd go in, nap, and then push his way out when he was done.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful video of the lovely Amanda......Andy says she's found an excellent hidey-hole!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteA great video of beautiful Amanda; she's so silly and smart to find such a great hidey hole!...xo...Calle,Halle,Sukki
ReplyDeleteHoshi, our Moms had to put child-locks on several of our kitchen cabinets. Raymond and I like to open them all and go exploring. We are now trying to figure out how to open the child locks!
ReplyDeleteLOVED the video! Persistence pays off!
ReplyDeleteAmanda I enjoyed your video. You were quite sucessful in opening that cupboard. My two do the same thing. They open the bottom door on my linen closet.
ReplyDeleteYou can come and stay in my cupboard anytime.:)

Hello Amanda, I really enjoyed your video, and thanks for showing me how to open the cabinets!
ReplyDeleteAmanda is very smart and persistent. It was funny how she checked out both sides of the door and the bottom before figuring it out.
ReplyDeleteAmada, you are very persistent. I have not worked out how to open cupboards yet.
ReplyDeleteWow that is very impressive that she can open the cabinet. I know my cats like to go in if the doors are open, but they don't usually try to open the doors themselves.
ReplyDeleteCats just loooove cupboards. Why not just let her play? She won't do any harm, and it keeps her happy.

We want to thank you very much for stopping by our site. Congratulations on your first UTube picture, turned out great. You are so cute Amanda, getting in the cupboard. And yes Amanda, you are a good kitty. You have to be to figure out getting that door open. Your Mom sure makes cute collars for you Amanda. My Mom used to sew a lot but she doesn't anymore. Guess she got tired out sewing for her kid beans when they were little.

Great movie! Amanda, you are tenacious and very smart!
ReplyDeleteYes you need a child proof lock or duct tape. I use duct tape if the child lock doesn't work on
